I have had many physical healings, including immediate reversal of cold and flu symptoms, when I recognized I had let the belief of contagion become frightening to me. The truth is that as children of God, none of us can be infected by others or pass anything on to one another except love.
I was also healed of a twisted ankle when I mentally stood firm for the truth that I am a spiritual being—the child of God—who can only reflect the perfection with which the creator has created me. I stopped favoring the foot and continued my very busy day as the manager of our business with no impairment or pain of any sort.
There have been experiences of the harmonizing of home and work relationships, as well as many other things too numerous to mention. However, one of the healings that has meant the most to me is the successful completion of a college degree. Contrary to the advice of a counselor, who kindly informed me when I was in about eighth grade that she did not think I was "college material," I obtained my bachelor of arts degree this year as a re-entry student.
