I'd like to tell about a healing that has helped me understand Christ better. Some years ago, I began having pain in my neck. Initially I ignored it. Soon, however, the pain worsened until it was hard for me to move my head. I prayed about this sporadically, but there was no improvement. Even driving a car became difficult.
Although this particular problem wasn't improving, I did have other significant healings during this time, so I knew prayer was effective. Eventually, though, my neck got worse, and my husband urged me to see a doctor.
The doctor's diagnosis was that two vertebrae in my neck were disintegrating. She believed that I would eventually become paralyzed. Her suggestion was that I begin taking painkillers and muscle relaxants, and try various physical therapies.
