At the time my daughter was born, I was considered past the normally accepted age that a woman should be having her first child.
During my sixth month, I engaged a doctor who was willing to assist with natural childbirth. At our first meeting, I told him that I wanted a home delivery. He remarked that I was not exactly sixteen, and that he often suggested a first delivery be done at the hospital. I assured him that my age had nothing to do with a successful delivery. And he agreed to a home delivery.
At the first meeting with the doctor, he had commented that my blood pressure was a bit high. I immediately prayed to know that God maintains everything in perfect balance. On my next meeting with the doctor, I inquired about my blood pressure, and it was obvious that he had no remembrance of his earlier remark. Everything was normal.
