A number of years ago I had a persistent sore throat. I read this in Science and Health: "Disease has no intelligence with which to move itself about or to change itself from one form to another. If disease moves, mind, not matter, moves it; therefore be sure that you move it off" (p. 419). It came to me clearly to remove it from thought. Instantly the sore throat disappeared, and I have never experienced that difficulty again.
I have felt God's protection while driving. One time, a car directly in front of us, going 55 miles per hour, stopped suddenly with no warning. The passenger riding next to me screamed that we were going to crash. I declared with authority, "No, we are not going to crash!" Not only were we able to stop in time, but cars directly behind us were able to stop or swerve to avoid us, also. There were no collisions, front or back. We were able to help the driver of the first vehicle, who had missed the exit, and we continued on our way, being so grateful for the wonderful protection of all concerned.
God plays no favorites—all are equal in His sight.
