Here is one of the many healings that I have experienced. One morning I got up, fixed breakfast for my husband and me, and sat down to eat. Suddenly I felt very ill and weak. Apparently I lost all color in my face, and my husband asked if he should stay home from work that day to be with me. I said that that wasn't necessary, and went to lie down on the den couch. I began to silently pray the Lord's Prayer very slowly, thinking deeply about its meaning. My husband went off to work as I had urged him to.
I was able to make a 60-mile drive that I had been planning.
Suddenly it was as though I heard a directive to "get up and be about my business." I was obedient. I got up and proceeded to clean up the breakfast dishes. As I was washing them, I looked out the kitchen window and saw that there appeared to be so much light outside. This Bible verse came to mind: "Put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground" (Ex. 3:5). I realized that the holy ground I was standing on was God's truth. I was completely healed—so much so that I was able to make a 60-mile drive that I had been planning, to order some furniture.
