Angels on the scene

A single inspiring thought can lead to healing.

From the June 2001 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The road to healing and happiness is neither mysterious nor miraculous. It's not something out of reach by miles or millimeters, years or seconds. Healing doesn't depend on material circumstances or a random act of God. The way to healing begins with longing to know God better, accompanied by a trust that He does answer prayer.

This yearning indicates that we are looking beyond our personal will, toward the truth of Spirit and its ultimate power to heal. Often this is enough. We open our hearts wide, with great trust, and with love for God and all His children, and are blessed with the awareness of God's goodness and mercy.

Healing doesn't depend on a random act of God.
