One morning, I awoke to discover that the sight in my right eye was greatly diminished. Dark spots were moving about rapidly, obscuring my field of vision, making it difficult for me to focus on print or on distant objects. This condition worsened to the point where I could only drive or read with my right eye closed.
I called a practitioner who reminded me that since all true vision was spiritual, I could see only as God saw. Here was a challenge. Was I seeing others in the light of divine perfection, or had I accepted the flawed view of them as material?
In thinking through these questions, I realized I needed to purge my thought of resentments, fear, and limitation. These I replaced with love, patience, and a clearer understanding of God's allness. As these truths gradually took up more space in my thought, my eyesight improved, and the condition was completely healed.
