Visit the Library from your home

From the March 2002 issue of The Christian Science Journal

There's a great way to visit The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity at any time of the day or night — go to the Library's Web site at www.marybakereddylibrary.org. The site now provides information about the Library, including construction photos as well as articles and pictures from the Library's magazine, but it will change in function and form later this year.

When it relaunches in June, the site will become an extention of the Library experience. The addition of topical bulletin boards, updates from the collection, and unique online events will allow visitors to engage — and remain en gaged — with the Library and its ongoing exploration of the transforming power of ideas. The Web site will also be a valuable resource for information about Mary Baker Eddy's ideas, life, and achievements. Online visitors will access and search the Library's book catalog, look at items from the collection, review biographical data, and conduct research with the Library on multiple levels. Questions may be submitted by e-mail, and applications submitted online for long-distance studies using the Web for communications and delivery.

Whether you're looking to make the most of a trip to Boston or just want to explore, be sure to visit the Library's Web site.
