In our recent conversation about spiritual healing, Christian Science teacher and practitioner Paul Grimes's spirit and love shone through as abundantly as the warm desert air and vivid greens of the landscape where he lives—near the third hole of 49er Golf Course and Country Club, which rests like an oasis in the foothills of the Rincon and Catalina mountains in Tucson, Arizona.
Mr. Grimes—whose recent article, "The highest position attainable," launched the new series "Anyone can be a healer" Sentinel, May 9, 2005, pp. 12–13. in our sister publication the Christian Science Sentinel—has lectured on Christian Science and served as a member of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Since 1982 he has conducted an annual class in St. Louis, Missouri, on how to heal through Christian Science.
Paul, you first advertised your professional healing practice in the Journal in 1973. Could you describe, in a nutshell, the journey that brought you to that point?
