Letters & Conversations

LETTERS

From the August 2005 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The cover [of the June Journal] is stunning. I was pleased to be able to comfortably read the articles. The print was readable and appeared somewhat darker. The red highlighting of the interview questions create mind-sticking ideas to take into our own work.

The literal and contemporary photography and art is most appealing. The balance is good, and I like the mix of two-column articles and in another location three columns. Very lively approach.

As always, the articles are filled with inspiration that stirred my thought processes. The "today" language pleases me, as I've been a student of Christian Science for over 80 years and we do speak differently today. As we bring our expression of spirituality into today's application, we are more nearly able to apply our well-established concepts to an ever more complex set of challenges in ways that may strike more responsive chords in the younger reader.
