Perhaps best known for her role in the '50s and '60s television show Make Room for Daddy, Ms. Lord began her acting career on Broadway, where, while still in her teens, she debuted in the Pulitzer Prize winning play The Old Maid. Since then, Lord has had a rich and varied career in an industry known for its capriciousness. But this, she says, is more than just a testament to her versatility as an actress.
