"My life started out pretty mediocre," told me when we e–mailed each other recently. "I was an average kind of person. So at every turn, whether it was academically, athletically, or socially, I felt energized by a more unrestricted expectancy—the expectancy to live the infinite nature of the divine. When it came time to take up a life practice, the public healing practice of Christian Science was a natural choice. How could I not share with others what had been so freeing to me!"
