Annual meeting 2011 highlights
On Monday, June 6, the Christian Science Board of Directors and the other officers of The Mother Church gathered for a candid, unscripted conversation that underscored the revitalized spirit of Church.
Marta: Fujiko, we just want to express deep appreciation for your grace and strength that has been so evident as a lecturer and teacher this past year—especially in places that were hit with [severe] conditions such as New Zealand, Indonesia, and your homeland of Japan.
Fujiko: Thank you, Marta. Church has truly come alive for all of us. On behalf of the Japanese people and especially the members of the Tokyo branch church, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for all your prayers . . . .
