Early one morning a few years ago I was taking a shower when I suddenly felt myself starting to black out. I quickly called to my husband, who immediately came to my side. But when he reached me, I was already unconscious.
My husband has had Red Cross medical training, so he checked my vital signs and found my eyes rolled back. Later, he told me I was not breathing, had no pulse, my lips were gray, and the whites of my eyes had changed color.
I heard him calling my name, but everything was black. Yet he kept calling me, and slowly I regained consciousness. When I did, I saw my husband sitting close by, calmly praying. I asked him to join me in praying out loud “the scientific statement of being” found in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy on page 468.
