A year ago our family was joyously awaiting the arrival of a new addition. However, as my daughter’s due date came and went, she became uncomfortable and anxious. She had been working with a midwife for a natural childbirth at a birthing center, but she was concerned that if the baby was overdue by two weeks or more, a state law would require medical intervention.
I sent her messages of encouragement and inspiration and let her know I was prayerfully affirming God’s tender care for all His creation, including her and the baby.
I prayerfully claimed dominion over any fear that our God-given harmony could be disrupted.
