Something special happens when people gather together to explore their relationship to God and church. As they draw closer to divine Love, God, and share inspiration, they find themselves drawing closer to each other, too.
That’s the way it was at the Christian Science summit held in Birmingham, United Kingdom, in October 2022. After feeling isolated during the pandemic due to restrictions on gatherings, Christian Scientists were eager to meet in person.
“People had experienced the challenges of finding church fellowship online, and they needed that face-to-face interaction,” says Helen de Leon, one of the planners of the event.
