More than a year ago, I had an interview at a consulate in my hometown for the purpose of getting a visa for an overseas trip. After my visa application was approved, I was told to go back to the consulate the following week with my letter of approval in order to retrieve my passport and visa.
On the day I returned to the consulate, I showed my approval letter to the security guards and was allowed to enter the building. A guard asked three of us in the waiting room to go to the pick-up gate. The lady at the gate took much time looking for our passports and ended up finding only one of the three. The person who owned that passport was able to leave with his visa, and she told the other person and me to return to our seats in the waiting room while she double-checked our names in the system.
My prayer recognized that God is the only power and authority.
