MARY BAKER EDDY, the Leader and Founder of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, established through the Church Manual a complete educational system designed to protect the integrity of the teaching of Christian Science and to share its powerful, tender message with all mankind. This system includes the weekly Bible Lessons, Sunday School, Church services on Wednesday and Sunday, contacts with Christian Science practitioners, Christian Science lectures and periodicals, service through Church membership, and Primary Class instruction.
