Dear Friends: There is nothing more important on this planet than the revelation of divine Science, the Comforter promised in the Bible by Christ Jesus. When Mary Baker Eddy wrote Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the book that fully explains this Comforter to humanity, she expected readers to live its teachings, to heal and to be healed.

Two thank-you notes

In 1890, Sunday School children began raising money to furnish the special "Mother's Room" in The Mother Church. Their generosity and entrepreneurial spirit deeply touched a mother's and Leader's heart.

All of the magazines produced by The Christian Science Publishing Society have been honored by judges in their fields. Most recently the Christian Science Sentinel print edition received two 2004 DeRose-Hinkhouse Awards of Merit, one for writing and the other for photography.

The Journal, Sentinel, and Heralds are not the only publications established by Mary Baker Eddy. Upcoming series segments will look at two others.
