In many parts of the world, people are learning for the first time the significance of the words "Christian Science" when they hear the radio series, "The Bible Speaks to You. " Who listens? A man from Rojas, Argentina, does.

Is Sunday School just for little children? Not the Christian Science Sunday School. A college student, academically and athletically a leader of his class, brought his date to Sunday School.

The businessman or businesswoman must put business interests before personal amusements in order to achieve any success. In the same way the student of Christian Science must put God first by consecrated daily study of this religion if he is to succeed in reaping any of the healing benefits to be gained from a demonstrable knowledge of the Supreme Being and of man, made in His likeness.

A Christian Science lecture represents the Word of God as it has unfolded to the lecturer's consciousness. When presenting the lecture to the community, therefore, the members of the sponsoring church cannot be too zealous in their metaphysical support of the message.

Everyone who loves children is concerned that they develop the spiritual and moral strength that will enable them to resist temptation. But the best advice we can give youngsters is of no avail unless they are listening to us.

Teaching in a Christian Science Sunday School is at once a joyous and rewarding experience, and there is, perhaps, no better way to speed one's own progress in Christian Science. A requisite for teaching is a deep and abiding love for God and man.

What would be thought of the academic student whose work in a course left much room for improvement and who paid only cursory attention to his textbooks? How well are we doing in the lifelong course of demonstrating our God-given spiritual being? Who among us would not admit that there is much room for improvement in his own experience? How well do we know and use our textbooks? Let not Christ Jesus' rebuke to the Sadducees, "Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God," Matt. 22:29; apply to the student of Christian Science.

Many of us have had the experience in childhood of being roused from a disturbing dream by the demands of our mother or father to wake up. Unselfish affection expressed in human parenthood stems from God, divine Love, our ever-present Father-Mother.

Mrs. Eddy writes, "Metaphysics resolves things into thoughts, and exchanges the objects of sense for the ideas of Soul.

In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy gives this statement: "As named in Christian Science, animal magnetism or hypnotism is the specific term for error, or mortal mind.
