Every earnest student of Christian Science is learning day by day something more of the nature and availability of infinite power. Whether he grasps the value of this phenomenon quickly or slowly or whether his development appears to be great or small, his thought is necessarily becoming increasingly clear on a vital point.
Today , amid world upheavals, humanity is asking these vital questions: Where is there any permanent security or stability? How can civilization survive the destructive forces of our times? Indeed, mankind at grips with the world, the flesh, and the devil cries out, "Save, or we perish. " What, then, is the great need of the hour? What is the power which provides an unshakable foundation for the reign and rule of divine righteousness, for the demonstration of peace and unity on earth? The meekest and mightiest man who ever lived, Christ Jesus, revealed the perfect solution to the problems of humanity.
The color and formation of some growing hyacinths were so symbolical of divine perfection that a Christian Scientist felt impelled to ponder on the raiment of Spirit. She saw the pleasant symbols of the earth as pointers to the loveliness of all God's handiwork, reminding her of the substance of Spirit and the glory of God's spiritual creation, including man in His image and likeness.
God is All-in-all. He is omnipotent, omnipresent Mind, and man, His idea, is His expression.

A familiar Bible verse reads ( Ps. 127:1 ), "Except the Lord' build the house, they labour in vain that build it.
Regardless of the type of situation which confronts one, a basic step toward making the right decision as to the course of action for him to follow is to make sure that his motive is right. If the motive is one of consecrated desire to act and live according to the leadings of God, then the resulting action will be harmonious and successful.
" The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord" ( Prov. 16:1 ).
Christian Science enables one to enjoy a purposeful life by revealing man's reason for existing. He who understands this revealed truth and conforms himself to it is sure to have a positive and rewarding purpose in life.
Marriage is a demanding and at the same time a rewarding human experience. Its demands are the expression of patience, good humor, tenderness; its rewards include good fellowship and intellectual and spiritual enrichment.
