"Our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body" (Phil. 3:20, 21). These words of St. Paul show that in order to manifest a "glorious body," our conversation, or manner of thinking and living, must be heavenly, harmonious.
It becomes thus only as we realize that God is the sole creator, the one and only Mind, and then turn to this Mind for direction in thought, word, and also in deed, as Jesus did. When we obey the First Commandment (Ex. 20:3), "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," thought becomes spiritualized and manifests itself in a better sense of body or existence.
Christian Science, following the teachings of Christ Jesus, illustrates and demonstrates what God really is and what man's relationship to Him is. As we continue to study this great revelation of truth, as we constantly identify ourselves with God, Spirit, our thoughts gradually become more spiritual until at last we awaken to see man as he has always been in reality, the likeness of God.
