Christian Science reveals man's true identity to be the perfect child of God, not subject to deterioration, but ageless, deathless, and free. It makes plain to mankind the way of dominion over discord and decay through demonstration of man's oneness, or unity, with God.
Divine Mind's activity is effortless. It is the harmonious unfoldment of spiritual ideas.
Christian Science denounces error in all its forms as suppositional. The Science of Christianity knows no mistakes.
Jesus healed all kinds of diseases as well as untoward conditions to which the people of his day were subjected. We know from the Gospels that he did not consider any disease or condition beyond healing and that he expected healing to be instantaneous.
One of the priceless possessions that Christian Science gives to its students is an eternal Christmas. The problem of supply and employment is one with which mankind has been faced down through the ages. Christ Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount set forth the rule in regard to this problem ( Matt.
" Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" ( II Tim. 2:15 ).
In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy writes ( p. 450 ), "The Christian Scientist has enlisted to lessen evil, disease, and death; and he will overcome them by understanding their nothingness and the allness of God, or good.
