Jesus healed all kinds of diseases as well as untoward conditions to which the people of his day were subjected. We know from the Gospels that he did not consider any disease or condition beyond healing and that he expected healing to be instantaneous. The four Gospels, in numerous instances, state explicitly that Jesus accomplished many healings immediately.
Christian Science teaches that the Master's healing ability was the result of his scientific and Godlike thinking. Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (pp. 178, 179), "Whoever reaches the understanding of Christian Science in its proper signification will perform the sudden cures of which it is capable; but this can be done only by taking up the cross and following Christ in the daily life."
Christian Science is the law of God, good. This law is based on the truth that God created man in His image and that therefore he is good. Understanding this law, Jesus utilized it in healing the sick, overcoming sin, and raising the dead. His realization that no power supersedes God's ever-operative law enabled him to heal instantaneously.
