COMPANIONSHIP IS CONSTANT, ETERNAL, DIVINE

From the December 1956 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Can we ever be outside the presence of infinite Love, the very source and substance of our being? Certainly not. To be cut off or shut out from Life in all its completeness, permanency, and beauty is impossible when we comprehend that God is man's Life. The relationship of man to infinite good is inviolate, maintained by omnipotent Principle.

The primary error to be handled in any belief of grief, lack of companionship, loneliness, is the lie that man can be separated from God, the fount of his activity, joy, relationships, love, and enjoyment. Because we are in truth the children of God, we can never be away from or immune to the tender warmth of limitless divine Love, our Father-Mother.

In this very moment God needs every one of us as His sons to express Him—to express Life, Truth, Love, Principle, Mind, Spirit, Soul, and all the divine attributes, such as joy, integrity, affluence, tenderness, graciousness. Thus our eternal place in the divine unfoldment is perpetually assured. Our companionship is inevitable, for we reflect forever Mind's infinite completeness and full effulgence.
