ALLNESS OF GOOD

God is good and God is All. Therefore, all is good.

WHICH MIRROR?

A Biblical text frequently quoted by students of Christian Science is from the first chapter of Genesis. As a glorious culmination of an ascending record of spiritual creation the text states (verse 27), "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him.

PRESENCE

" Dignity of presence"—what a picture of refinement Francis Bacon's words evoke. The individual whose temperament is marked by graciousness, poise, and tranquillity is said to possess presence.

IN PARADISE NOW

Appreciation of the present moment is highly important. Though fleeting in its brevity, this moment serves to link the future with the past.

THE DIVINE UTTERANCE

It is recorded in the New Testament that those who listened to the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth were astonished at his wisdom, which transcended that of the scribes and chief priests of that time. In many instances Christ Jesus must have overcome his listeners' indifference and antagonism with the supreme confidence in and persuasion of his message.

AUTHORITY

We are taught in Christian Science that we are to exercise authority over our servant, the body. "Take possession of your body, and govern its feeling and action," writes Mary Baker Eddy on page 393 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

BUSINESS: THE CO-ORDINATION OF SPIRITUAL IDEAS

What is the true, the scientific concept of business? The answer to this question is earnestly sought by the businessman who is a student of Christian Science. He desires to know the truth regarding business in order that he may express God's government.

SHARING THE GOOD TIDINGS

Does one long to share the good that has come to him through the study of Christian Science? If so, he will find that one of the most joyous and rewarding activities in the Church of Christ, Scientist, is that of a worker on a literature distribution committee. The opportunity to bless mankind through the placing of Christian Science literature where it may be taken freely by those reaching out for Truth is seen as a privilege by every truly consecrated worker.

ENCOURAGING THE CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTION

On the occasion of the dedication of the original edifice of The Mother Church, Mary Baker Eddy expressed gratitude to the children who contributed toward the building of this edifice. She praised their efforts and spoke of children as being the hope of the race.
