THE READERS AND THE LESSON-SERMON

In Churches of Christ, Scientist, the reading of the Lesson-Sermon, as given in the Christian Science Quarterly , brings comfort and healing not only to the congregation but to the Readers as well. GOD'S HOLY DAY

In spite of the Psalmist's declaration ( Ps. 118:24 ), "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it," many find it difficult to rise above the dull monotony of daily tasks and to be joyous.

EXCELLENCE

From the time we awake in the morning to the time we retire at night, we are busy doing things and thinking about things. What we do and think is generally catalogued "daily activity.
