The prophet, as a messenger of God, said that "to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free," was the true way in which to bring themselves into favor with Deity.

Earthly promises have small comfort for the weary one who has been buffeted by the storms of error in his search for peace; and it is not until refuge is sought outside of matter and material living that surcease is found from the strife and turmoil which attend the effort to acquire and to maintain possession of that which is essential to genuine happiness. Many have exhausted everything that materiality has to offer in the effort to find peace, happiness, and contentment.
