How dearly we may love our family and friends! And how very much, too, they may cherish us. But sometimes family and friends, while surely meaning well, may oppose our involvement or advancement in Christian Science.

Healing is so much needed these days! The big question is, How can we improve health; how can we stem the proliferation of disease? Christian Science speaks to these problems with a scientifically spiritual approach that is both fundamental and effective. Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

As announced at Annual Meeting and again in the August Journal, this fall the Publisher of the Writings of Mary Baker Eddy is releasing an English edition of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures designed especially for first-time readers. This edition of Science and Health will be available at Christian Science Reading Rooms and bookstores by October 1.

It summarized the current challenges to religious freedom in the United States, and to spiritual healing in general and Christian Science practice in particular.
