No need for tears “ I’m loving, not missing, you ” by Elaine Jarvis in the November issue really touched me! My husband passed on eight years ago, and I, too, can honestly say, “I’m loving, not missing, you. ” I am constantly reminded of his love for me and for his children.

Masterful article  Judy Wolff’s article, “ Moving a mountain ,” in the October Journal is a masterfully woven article of the ultimate inevitability of Life. I so appreciate the clarity of focus that is expressed here.

Letters

All-inclusive love I was startled to read the August Journal’ s interview with Bettie B. Thompson regarding Christian Science churches and segregation of the black community.

Thinking rightly I felt compelled to express my appreciation for the July 2013 issue of the Journal. There are three pieces that really spoke to me about subjects that I have “wrestled” with over the years.

Truly helpful I have read and reread Barbara Vining’s feature article, “ Understand, be firm, and yield! ” in the July issue of the Journal. It is so true and truly helpful.

Article leads to action I decided to subscribe to The Christian Science Monitor’ s online Daily News Briefing (DNB) after reading February’s article “  ‘To lighten mankind’ ” by Rosalie Dunbar, and am delighted that my minimum daily requirement for keeping “abreast of the times” is now being met. After subscribing I came across this previously unfamiliar sentence by Mary Baker Eddy in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany: “My desire is that every Christian Scientist, and as many others as possible, subscribe for and read our daily newspaper” ( p.

‘Love it!’ I have been a subscriber of the periodicals since the fall of 1959. I just have to tell you how much I love the new size of the Journal.
