‘Truly educational’ Thank you for printing in the October issue the question from a high school student who asked, “Why do people rely on God/religion less in general than they did in the past?” If I may, I would like to point out that most of the educational systems of today rely on God and religion less than they did in the past, as well. Remarkable article It was thrilling to read about Elizabeth Pond’s experience in Cambodia (“Sanctuary in Captivity,” April Journal, p. 48 ).

In our Closet I was particularly inspired with a new recollection and spiritual significance about an experience I had that came about while reading Questions and Answers in the March issue of the Journal,   pages 6 and 7 . Going into the closet to pray, together with open praying, and the experience of Michael Seek reminded me of my own mountaintop experience.
