Dear Christian Scientists, Imagine yourself sitting next to Emma Easton Newman during the Primary class taught by Mary Baker Eddy in February of 1889. Here is the way Newman described the teacher: "Our Leader's appearance at that time was of a woman many years younger than the recorded number.

'WORTHY ACTIVITIES' The "Worthy Activities" article in the March Journal ["Worthy Activities: Background of Two Church Manual By-Laws," p. 18] is a wonderfully clear, comprehensive, wise, and timely answer to a question I had regarding the Manual By-Laws entitled "Joining Another Society" and "Church Organizations Ample.
