LETTERS

From the July 2009 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It is so perceptive of you to include the recent feature, Your Insights. I have thought for many years that it is a pity that valuable segments from articles and testimonies have been withheld from publication, perhaps because the authors have been unable or unwilling to resubmit their work, or because of editorial guidelines. Now we have the extra incentive to submit contributions, with the knowledge that at least some of the work may be used and of benefit.

Reading Connie Coddington's reference to God as "the all good and only Ego" in her answer to "Can you shed somelight on what 'I AM THAT I AM' (Ex. 3:14) means from the perspective of Christian Science teaching?" in the May Journal [p. 8], I was reminded of how a practitioner helped me apply this. I had consulted him about my worries about giving an over-the-top performance as Jimmy Porter in Look Back In Anger.
