"Rise up and walk. " The words still ring within my ears when I recall the day they came— those men of God.

Father, Thou art so near to me tonight: Here in this quiet room I find true peace. Here I can lay aside the cares that vex me, Here find from every sorrow sure release.

God is not withholding. All His wealth is ours.

These quiet days I pass in perfect peace, Untouched by strife, untinged by future fears; I take each moment at intrinsic worth And seek no more my own. The path appears Lighted by Love; I pray for eyes to see, For ears to hear God's Word with constancy.

There is set a feast before me that shall grow not ever less, A feast unseen by mortal eyes or mortal consciousness: And the words of loving wisdom echo gladly through my mind, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find. " And shall find, not just sufficient, but abundance of good things In the Life that is of Spirit, in the joy that concept brings.

When — as the shepherds watched their flocks by night, we watch our thoughts, say nay to sin, disease, and want, and yea to love that soars above all discord, pain, and fear, to light, then— the star that leads our way is bright. Assured God's plan for all is good, in peace and joy we dwell apart.

The housing problem was acute on that first Christmas Day when Jesus' birth proclaimed to earth good will and peace to men. Today the Christ seeks entrance to hearts of all mankind.

The angels of His presence sang In joyful strain on Christmas morn. "Peace on the earth, good will to men: The Saviour of the world is born!" The listening ear still hears this song, Borne on the harmonies of Soul, Above the range of mortal thought, Beyond belief of time's control.

How bravely they went forth— Those faithful ones Who started out upon their ministry Spreading the gospel that the Master taught, The holy, healing message of the Christ. Small wonder that they all returned with joy.

So good is God, we need not fear to trust Him. He will requite the faithful, loving heart.
