Loose them from human bondage—leave them free.
Teach them to heed divine authority,
For only God is Parent, and He knows
Just where the swallow nests, the lily grows.
His shepherding will mold their every thought.
They never can be hurt. They will be taught.
With rod and staff, as in the days of old,
Each lamb is sought and guided to its fold.
Not one is lost; not one is left alone.
Loose them! Their Father loves and leads His own.
