ENCOURAGEMENT

Man knows no hesitation when climbing up the road; Love knows no limitation in His divine abode. For Truth and Life, unending, Are gracious courage lending To weary mankind bending Beneath a seeming load.

REVELATION

Disciple of the Christ, loving, beloved, He saw with purer faith, with clearer sight, That vision of new heaven and new earth, Wherein should be no night ; And in the place of error's ebb and flow, The mortal waves that ever seem to be, Love's quiet all around, a holy calm— And there was no more sea. The evil days for him were not prolonged, He had no fear of age, nor sense of time; And in the city of our God, the Lamb Saw, as the light sublime.

TREATMENT

Someone has prayed for me today—how fair the day! The sun's warm tender rays make glad my way; And like still waters that in stillness bless, A holy calm possesses consciousness. Now Spirit's graces are more humbly sought: A great desire to love inspires my thought.

THE EVANGELIST

"THOUGH THOU HAST NOT KNOWN ME"

Thy Father leadeth thee. Hath He not said, I girded thee though Me thou hast not known? Look up! On thee Love's radiant smile is shed; Reach forth thine hand and lay it in His own!

ASSURANCE

God is our Father, whose love never faileth; Safe in His presence His children can rest, As when a nestling in the warm feathers Quietly sleeps 'neath its mother's warm breast. Safe in God's gentleness, all the world leaving, Love surges round and each little one keeps, Though we may dream that we wander in deserts, God never slumbers, and God never sleeps.

YOU ARE GOD'S PERFECT CHILD

To one of God's appointed fared I, sore oppressed, beguiled By sense. And there I softly heard, You are God's perfect child! The words came clear, so firmly said, As from a sky of blue— True manna to a hungering heart: God's perfect child are you! Why, never once had even those Who loved me truly done A thing like this! My heart arose: You are God's perfect son! Oh, blessed news, O Father mine, To stop the earth winds wild! All-powered voice of Truth divine: You are God's perfect child!

REFLECTION

Happy is he whose only aim Is God's great love to share; Joyful is he who knows naught else But goodness everywhere; Peaceful is he who trusts his God And leaves all to His care.
