Testimonies of Healing

I offer this testimony with a heart filled with gratitude for blessings received. About six years ago I became interested in Christian Science because of its healing power.

We were spending the summer of 1910 at Asbury Park, N. J.

So many blessings have come to me through the wonderful healing power revealed in Christian Science, that I feel it a duty as well as a privilege and pleasure to give this testimony. When this message of truth was first brought to me, it found me in quite a hopeless condition, having suffered from childhood with what materia medica diagnosed as lung trouble.

It gives us great joy to tell what Christian Science has done for us. Before we understood its teaching we seemed to have our full share of trouble and difficulty.

I deem it my duty to testify to having been lifted out of severe illness in a wonderful way through the ministrations of Christian Science. I had suffered for some time with a kidney trouble, which resulted in dropsy in its incipient stages and much disturbance of the heart action.

Nine years ago, shortly after the birth of a little son, my health began to fail. The first warning came as an intestinal trouble.

I am glad to testify to the efficacy of Christian Science. Some time in the spring of 1910, our little girl had an abscess in her ear.

In gratitude for many blessings received, I give this testimony. For several years I suffered greatly from nervous troubles, with loss of voice, defective eyesight, and from internal complaints.

After a long period of silence I feel impelled to testify to the manifold blessings which my dear ones and myself have experienced through Christian Science. About a year and a half ago my wife suffered with a serious disease, the cure of which was doubted by the physicians.
