Testimonies of Healing

I share this healing with readers of the Christian Science periodicals in the hope it will encourage especially those who have been working out a problem over an extended period of time. Quite a number of years ago, when our two children were in the lower grades, my husband had a full-time job in the space industry.

It has been my intention for a long time to submit a written testimony. Heretofore, it was my practice to tell of my gratitude at Wednesday testimony meetings.

I began attending a Christian Science Sunday School at the age of seven, along with my two younger brothers and a sister. My mother developed a great interest in this wonderful, healing religion, and my father attended church services.

Christian Science has been such a great blessing in my life that I would like to acknowledge this fact and share some of the blessings. I have received inspiration over many years from reading the testimonies of others.

Many years ago, before I'd even heard of Christian Science, my sister became ill and had several operations. One day the doctor called me out of my sister's hospital room and told me that I should look for comfort in my religion, because my sister would never get well again.

The practical effectiveness of Christian Science has been proved by our family over the years. One specific incident really brought home the fact to us that because we are truly governed by God, we can never be victimized by unfavorable circumstances.

Words cannot express the deep gratitude that I feel for Christian Science, which has restored spiritual healing to Christianity. A number of years ago I had a healing that proved to me beyond doubt this eternal fact ( Ps.
