Letters to the Editor
GROWLS AND GRATULATIONS. Dear Journal : Allow me to congratulate you on the new departure which I understand you are about to make.
Denver, Col. , Dec.
My Dear Teacher : I have been having some wonderful success in healing. I had a cancer of fourteen years standing healed in ten days ; and a case of a dislocated hip put in its place in six weeks; and many more less noticeable ; and still they come.
My Dear Teacher : I wish to state, through the columns of the Journal, that the words and sentiments in my report of your Address, and Charge to the new church-members, on June 20, were in no sense mine, but yours. The same is true of the Lecture before the Christian Scientist Association, July 7, reported by me.
Christian Science vs. Materia Medica.
Hallowell, Maine. My Dear Friend: Your letter received yesterday, and today I feel like a new creature.
Apple-Blossoms and Water-Lilies. For the past week I have travelled daily by rail, through one of the loveliest sections of old Massachusetts, and have enjoyed glimpses of town and country along the way.
Encouraging Lines. Dear Journal : Hoping my experience may profit some brother or sister seeking Truth, I gladly give it.
Demand for True Men. In a recent issue, H.
