Omaha, Nov. 28, '85.
Dear Mrs. Eddy,—I know you will lie pleased to hear from Mrs. C. personally. She is coming out of her belief in a wonderful manner, and will not be confined to her bed but a day or two longer. We have everything to thank God for in His infinite goodness. I can more than ever realize the truth of your teachings, after this example of God's work, and shall be only too happy to learn when I may again continue my lessons in this good cause. I would like to say a few words in praise of Mrs. F., who is doing a noble work in Omaha and vicinity. She has been a true sister to us through all our difficulties; and, as a reward, is gaining a higher understanding of the One Mind, and is bringing it out in demonstration, as illustrated Wednesday at Council Bluff, when she healed a young lady who came to her on crutches, with a belief of inflammatory rheumatism, and went home without them, having been healed in one treatment. A splendid demonstration of Truth! Mrs. F. is very busy and doing fine work. The people are very much interested in Science here, and it is a splendid field, the Western people not being so bigoted in their ideas as Eastern. Don't leave me out of the next class, if you can avoid it, as I shall be only too happy to resume my studies in this understanding of God, or Good. I hope all of my classmates will come out of the class with clear minds, especially the G.'s, who, I think, would be of very great benefit to the holy cause. Give my love to the members of the class, and tell them I wish I were there. Mrs. C. wishes to know if she could go through the class when I resume study, as she thinks it would be of great benefit to her.
