Dear Journal:—

I see that little notes of sudden helps to afflicted humanity are bearing results in the people's added faith in C. S. One of your younger Scientists took the case of a man with ulcerated stomach and brain affection. The doctors said he could not live three days. The man was tossing restlessly, and had not slept for many hours when the practitioner was called in, but within ten minutes after she began treatment he was sleeping peacefully, and rallied soon after from the stomach trouble as if nothing serious had ever ailed him.
