What a privilege to be asked to watch with him who in the past had loved so tenderly! I would be watchful, never sleep, would not falter, fail to keep the watch with him. No, indeed, not I! So I have thought.

Never leave it in the closet — that is not its proper place— let it clothe your total being. Wear it with unfettered grace— formed of fabric soft as zephyr yet as strong as welded steel, woven with the warp of promise crossed with woof of heaven's seal.

When we feel that gentle nudge— that subtle, profound stirring when the Christ has struck a chord deep in our heart— don't just go on , STOP ! Do something about it! Strum that chord! Ponder, pray, praise, bring healing, cry, laugh, love, sing! That divine touch is what the whole world aches for. And if you strum with unselfed fervency, someone else will feel it too.
