SONG

Unfold thy wings! Send thought forever soaring Above this sense of things. The heart that lifts and sings Is not for unearned joy imploring.

SERVICE

There is a balm for every earthly sorrow, There is a joy for every tear we shed, There is a peace that passeth understanding, If we will as a little child be led. Oh! let us know our trials are but blessings, Each test of faith a step towards the goal Of love that has no lingering thought of selfhood, But lives in service—manna for the soul.

SATISFACTION

THE LOVE OF CHRIST

Within this love no hate or envy creeps, No baneful thought of criticism seeps, But tenderness sublime, Strong 'gainst the storms of time— Christ's love, forever kind ; A love which never fails, nor change doth know; A love sincere, divine, That fills the heart with truth when error strives To claim thy thought, or mine; A love that meets the need, and satisfies; That ever blesses, strengthens, purifies, And comfortingly speaks To every heart that seeks.

THE ANGELS OF GOD'S PRESENCE

How the angels of God's presence Hallowed the first Easter day! Tidings glad of Life they brought. Lo, the holy deed is wrought! Jesus Christ has shown the way Through the angels of God's presence.

ANGELS OF LIGHT

God's thoughts to man! How comforting to know He sends His angels to us, swift of wing, To liberate us from our dreams of woe, To loose our bonds, and cause our hearts to sing! How oft, dispelling darkness, doth He send To us some bright-winged messenger of peace! Then all is light! And joyfully we wend Our upward way; and mortal fear doth cease. Our God is Light.
