"God is our Father and our Mother, our Minister and the great Physician: He is man's only real relative on earth and in heaven."—Miscellaneous Writings, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 151.

"Our Father," Mind! the one creative source,
Who holds each farthest star true to its course;
Our heritage from Thee is good and pure;
And Thou wilt guard Thine own in safety sure.

"Our Mother"! Lo, Thy tender, brooding care
Watches and guides Thy children everywhere.
Thy presence is around, beneath, above.
In this sweet thought we rest, dear Mother Love.

"Our Minister"! Through Thee we 're clothed and fed;
By Thy pure thoughts are comforted and led.
And though the way seem dark, and fears alarm,
These angel guardians fold us from all harm.

"The great Physician"! Mind, not matter, still,
Purging from error, healing every ill.
Before Thy Word, what discord can abide?
In Thy pure presence, where shall evil hide?

In earth and heaven, we have only Thee.
This wondrous thought from loss or grief sets free;
For we, Thy pure ideas, reflecting love,
In harmony and joy together move.
