GOD'S OMNIPRESENCE

To my mind, it is blessed evidence of the universal goodness and impartiality of God, that to every people and nation of the earth He has manifested Himself as Life, Truth, Holiness—Health.

The Buddhist Nirvana, the ideal conception of the summum bonum, the supreme good, is the rest of the soul in complete union with God, and in harmony with the Divine Life. Does it not find a point of contact with Christ's "I and my Father are one?"

Algazel, a Mohammedan philosopher of the twelfth century, declared that "God is the only active force in the universe, and even in the body." Was not that like unto "The Kingdom of heaven is within you?"
