On the 19th of Sept last, while out walking, I unfortunately stepped into a hole, and so severely sprained my ankle that I was obliged to be carried home. My ankle became very painful and much swollen. Eight hours after the accident, having received no relief from various applications, I was brought into the room and laid upon the sofa, where Mrs. Ellen F. Bostwick, Christian Scientist, of Oakland Vale, Saugus, treated me, and I was instantly healed. I immediately walked into another room, to the wonder and astonishment of our family; then sat at the piano and played for an hour or more, using my foot 'upon the pedal as usual. Truly, Christian Science has wrought wonders for me.
