To experience and observation, new phases of religious opinions appear on every hand, each pressing forward and urging its claim as Truth, and the " guiding star" to "Millennial Glory."
From this point of view, can be seen the special adaptation of the apostle's words to the need of this hour ; nor are we left in ignorance as to the way to accomplish this work, and arrive at just conclusions. Since Divine Science proves that things interpreted by their Principle can be understood, we have only to learn of God as the Principle of goodness, and proceed at once to the work which this Scripture enjoins. Wisdom points to understanding, which Jesus taught and demonstrated, mapping out the one Way in his earth-life by footsteps well defined, in which mortals must follow, and bring out like results of goodness. To reach the heights thereof is the work of each passing hour, by faithful efforts to improve present opportunities, up to the light received.
Jesus taught but One God, One Spirit. Discerning Truth, and receiving the same through acceptance, is God's requirement in its appropriation ; and then will be seen material belief relinquishing its claim, and man grasping the immortal, spiritual reality of unchanging Life and Love, ensuring refuge and anchorage divine.
