Dear Journal:—On Friday morning, Dec. 17, I fell down stairs and sprained my foot very badly. In a few minutes it was swollen and turned purple. I thought, now is my time to see what Christian Science can do. I sent for Mrs. Fenn. She could not come until evening, but gave me a thought at home when she could, through the day. When she came, I could not bear an ounce of weight on my foot. She stayed about an hour, and when she left, I could walk, but with some pain. I grew better all day Saturday. She came again in the evening. Sunday morning I was almost well. Monday morning, I walked five blocks and returned with perfect ease, and have had no further trouble. Now I know what Christian Science can do. I have not a doubt but I would have been confined to my chair for three or four weeks, if I had depended upon the old remedies.
