At midnight one Sabbath evening not long since, I was startled and awakened from an unpleasant dream. I hastily arose and going up-stairs found a member of the family in a collapsed condition. There was only a slight fluttering of the pulse; an overdose of opiates, ten days' prescription, had been taken in less than an hour. My first thought was help, I must have help. The answer came, God is your help. If you waver, if you call for other help, you doubt God's power. I began to declare the truth, with the understanding that there is nothing too hard for God, the one almighty power, and if God is with us, what can error do? Strength came, there were no longer doubts or fears. I felt the power and presence of Almighty God. By daylight all deadly symptoms were gone, and all was and is well. Oh, the joy and happiness that is found in demonstrating God's laws of life and truth as taught in Science and Health by our beloved Leader. I thank God and our dear Teacher for all I have and all I am. The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.—M. S., Des Moines, Ia.
