One young lady had suffered from an injury to her spine caused by a fall, and physicians gave no hope of recovery but when it was thought she could not live longer, she asked for treatment in Christian Science and was healed.
A man fell and fractured his skull at the base of the brain and was carried to the hospital, where they said he could not live till the next day, as only one case in a thousand like his was ever known to be healed.
His wife insisted upon having him removed from the hospital, and he was carried to his home in an ambulance, but before leaving the hospital she requested a Christian Scientist to pray for him, since she herself had been healed in one treatment of a severe trouble from which she had suffered for a great many years. He was unconscious nearly twenty-four hours, and when he regained consciousness, they found that his ribs were fractured, and one arm was either fractured or paralyzed.
